Even though I am now distancing myself more and more from Ki-generated pictures, I will keep the few I have here for a while longer, as these pictures are also part of my artistic development.
Von Baum zu Baum/From Tree to Tree
Diese entzückenden kleinen Gesellen, die zur Gattung der Baumhörnchen gehören, sind ausgesprochen vielseitige Geschöpfe. Sie können ihren buschigen Schwanz nutzen, um sich selbst Schatten zu spenden und sich bei Kälte damit zu wärmen. Die meisten der 29 Arten leben auf dem amerikanischen Doppelkontinent, nur 4 Arten, davon sind in der Alten Welt beheimatet und diese sind überall in Europa bis weit nach Asien verbreitet. Sie haben alle einen weißen Bauch und die Färbung ihres Fells ist von der Farbe der Bäume in ihrer Umgebung abhängig. Landläufig ist bekannt, dass sie sich von Sämereien und Nüssen ernähren. Doch soll es einige Opportunisten geben, die auch an Insekten, Eiern und Küken Geschmack finden. Dass sie in diesen Fällen auch Nestraub betreiben, scheint ihnen aber niemand übelzunehmen. Als zu Hause bauen sie bis 4-5 Kobel, in denen sie auch ihre Jungen aufziehen. Die "Damen" lassen sich zur Paarungszeit von geneigten "Herren" umwerben und entscheiden selbst, wem sie letztendlich ihre Gunst gewähren.
Diese interessanten Fakten sind nur ein kleiner Teil dessen, was es über diese possierlichen Wesen zu sagen gibt. Mach ihnen und auch dir doch mal die Freude und schaue dich mit ihren Augen um. Spring mit ihnen von Baum zu Baum, fühle, wie durch die Luft gleitest, wie es riecht in deinem Wald, in dem du die nächste Generation großziehst und ihnen alles für das Leben beibringst. Letztendlich auch nichts anderes, als das, was Menscheneltern tun.

These adorable little fellows, which belong to the tree squirrel genus, are extremely versatile creatures. They can use their bushy tails to provide themselves with shade and to keep warm in the cold. Most of the 29 species live on the American double continent, only 4 species are native to the Old World and these are distributed throughout Europe and as far as Asia. They all have a white belly and the colour of their fur depends on the colour of the trees around them. They are commonly known to feed on seeds and nuts. However, there are said to be some opportunists that also enjoy insects, eggs and chicks. However, no one seems to hold it against them that they also rob nests in these cases. At home, they build up to 4-5 boxes in which they also raise their young. During the mating season, the ‘ladies’ allow themselves to be wooed by willing ‘gentlemen’ and decide for themselves who they ultimately grant their favour to.
These interesting facts are only a small part of what there is to say about these cute creatures. Why don't you give them and yourself the pleasure of looking around through their eyes? Jump with them from tree to tree, feel how they glide through the air, how it smells in your forest where you are raising the next generation and teaching them everything they need to know about life. In the end, it's nothing more than what human parents do.

Anders wäre nämlich langweilig und langweilig war Pippi Langstrumpf ja nie. Wenn wir Tierbabys beobachten, ob im Zoo, daheim oder im Internet, erfreuen wir uns immer an den drolligen Spielen, den manchmal unbeholfenen Versuchen, irgendwo heraufzuklettern, etwas zu suchen oder zu fangen. Entdeckerfreude pur, kaum Angst oder Vorbehalte. Kommt noch ein Freund oder eine Freundin dazu, macht es noch einmal so viel Spaß. Beste Freunde für immer?

When we watch baby animals, whether at the zoo, at home or on the internet, we always enjoy the funny games, the sometimes clumsy attempts to climb up somewhere, search for or catch something. Pure joy of discovery, hardly any fear or reservations. If a friend joins them, it's even more fun. Best friends forever?
When did we lose this childlike joy of discovery? When did we become supposedly serious and sensible and lose a bit of fun and impartiality in the process?
Why not take a look at the world through the big eyes of a curious baby animal? Discover the exciting, still unknown world together with it like children and conquer it in its own way? Maybe then it will be a little easier for us humans to treat nature and ALL living creatures with respect.

Hinter der Schönheit/Behind the Beauty
Wie leicht kann sich hinter bezaubernder Schönheit, Bosheit, Hass und Falschheit verbergen. Im täglichen Kampf um Schöner, Klüger, Reicher verliert sich oft der Blick auf die Wahrheit, das Wesentliche, das Echte. Man lässt sich von anderen blenden, was sie vorleben und als begehrenswert definieren. Frechheit und Falschheit als Mittel zum Zweck. Vielleicht sollte man ab und zu einen Blick durch die Augen der Schlange als uraltes Symbol für Falschheit und Manipulation werfen, um eher die Gefahren, die um uns lauern zu erkennen und unsere Wertvorstellungen und unser Handel zu überdenken, bevor wir uns im Sog der falschen Träume mitreißen lassen.
Auf der anderen Seite aber ist auch die Schlange ein Lebewesen dieser Erde und hat ihren Platz in der Gemeinschaft von Menschen und Tieren. Ein Blick durch ihre Augen als Lebewesen kann uns Menschen den Blick auf die so verschiedenen Lebensräume und Überlebensfähigkeiten dieser faszinierenden Reptilien erlauben und so vielleicht dafür sorgen, dass wir durch mehr Wissen weniger Ängste gegenüber diesen Tieren empfinden.

How easily malice, hatred and falsehood can be hidden behind enchanting beauty. In the daily battle to be more beautiful, smarter and richer, we often lose sight of the truth, the essentials, the real thing. We allow ourselves to be dazzled by what others exemplify and define as desirable. Cheekiness and falsehood as a means to an end. Perhaps we should occasionally take a look through the eyes of the snake, an ancient symbol of falsehood and manipulation, in order to recognize the dangers lurking around us and rethink our values and our actions before we allow ourselves to be swept away in the maelstrom of false dreams.
On the other hand, the snake is also a living creature of this earth and has its place in the community of humans and animals. A look through their eyes as living creatures can allow us humans to see the very different habitats and survival skills of these fascinating reptiles and thus perhaps ensure that we feel less fear towards these animals through more knowledge.

Giftige Schönheit/Poisonous beauty
Im Regenwald entlang des Amazonas leben ca. 1.000 Arten aufregender Frösche mit bunten Farben, riesigen Augen und fantasievollen Mustern. Märchenhaft auffallende Exemplare der Tierwelt. Einige sind durchsichtig, andere hochgiftig. Sie leben im Wasser, auf dem Boden der Regenwälder oder auf den riesigen Bäumen, die dort wachsen. Von winzig klein bis ziemlich groß ist alles vorhanden. Sie können nicht nur durch ihre Lunge, sondern auch durch ihre Haut atmen. Deshalb benötigen sie immer Wasser in ihrem Lebensraum, damit ihre Haut nicht austrocknet. Wie bei den Baumsteigerfröschen kann die Haut am Rücken aber auch deren Gift enthalten und bei kleinster Berührung durch einen Feind abgegeben werden. So klein sie sind, so unterschiedlich und wunderschön sind sie, wahre Meisterwerke der Natur. Bestimmt leihen sie uns Menschen gerne mal ein Auge, um mittels diesem einen Blick auf ihren Lebensraum, ihren Teil von Mutter Natur zu werfen zu lassen und uns neugierig zu machen, was es noch alles über diese faszinierenden Lebewesen zu wissen gibt.

Some are transparent, others highly poisonous. They live in the water, on the ground in the rainforests or on the huge trees that grow there. They range from tiny to quite large. They can breathe not only through their lungs, but also through their skin. This is why they always need water in their habitat so that their skin does not dry out. As with the tree climbing frogs, the skin on their backs can also contain their poison and be released at the slightest touch by an enemy. As small as they are, as different and beautiful they are, true masterpieces of nature. They certainly like to lend us humans an eye to let us take a look at their habitat, their part of Mother Nature, and to make us curious about what else there is to know about these fascinating creatures.

Wusstet ihr, dass Flamingos ohne große Anstrengung auf nur einem Bein stehen können, weil sich ihr Körperschwerpunkt über das Standbein schiebt und sie sogar einen Art Arretiermechanismus haben? Dieser sorgt für die Stabilität, sodass sie sogar im Schlaf stehen können. Für das Stehen auf beiden Beinen hingegen müssen sie aktiv Muskelkraft aufwenden.
Flamingos sind entgegen dem Glauben, dass sie nur in tropischen Gebieten vorkommen, in nahezu allen Gebieten der Erde zu finden. In den Anden brüten Arten in Höhen von ca. 3500 - 4700 m, im Winter leben sie in Gebieten, in denen die Temperaturen bis auf -30° absinken können.
Rosarote Allrounder sozusagen, über die es noch so viel mehr zu wissen gibt. Wunderschöne, höchst interessante Tiere, die es wert sind, auch ihre Welt immer wieder durch ihre Augen anzuschauen und als schützenswert zu erleben.

Did you know that flamingos can stand on just one leg without much effort because their center of gravity is shifted over the supporting leg and they even have a kind of locking mechanism? This provides stability so that they can even stand while sleeping. To stand on both legs, on the other hand, they have to actively use muscle power.
Contrary to the belief that they only occur in tropical regions, flamingos can be found in almost all areas of the world. In the Andes, species breed at altitudes of around 3500 - 4700 m, and in winter they live in areas where temperatures can drop to -30°.
Pink all-rounders, so to speak, about which there is so much more to know. Beautiful, highly interesting animals that are worth looking at through their eyes again and again to see their world as worth protecting.

Symbiose I Mensch & Tier
Die Fledermaus steht als Krafttier für den Tod und das Jenseits. Spirituell gesehen kann sie den Weg "zu sterben, um wiedergeboren zu werden" zeigen. Erlebt der Schutzbefohlene schwere Zeiten oder ist in Gefahr, kann es sein, dass eines dieser Tiere sich zu dessen Unterstützung in seiner Nähe aufhält, bis die Gefahr vorüber ist. Sie führt ihren Schützling sozusagen aus der Dunkelheit zurück ins Licht.

If the person being protected is experiencing difficult times or is in danger, one of these animals may stay close by to support them until the danger has passed. Crow´s Wisdom
Sie sind fleißig und scheinen ohne Angst ihren Wegen zu folgen, auch wenn sie unsicher sind. Sie vertrauen ihren Intuitionen und den Tieren, die ihren Weg kreuzen, um sie zu führen, und stehen treu zu ihren Gefährten. Krähen mögen ein Freund des Wolfes sein. Sie sind neugierig, benutzen ihren Verstand und passen sich an. Sie sind nicht wählerisch mit dem, was sie fressen und nehmen immer wieder Zeit zum Spielen. Diese Vögel verschaffen ihrer Stimme Gehör und lassen sich nicht aus der Ruhe bringen.
Eigenschaften und Fähigkeiten, von denen wir Menschen uns ab und zu etwas abschauen könnten. Nun ja, einen Wolf zum Freund mag nicht gerade realistisch sein. Auch könnte ich selbst dem Futter von Krähen nicht viel abgewinnen, aber der Sinn dessen, was wir uns von Krähen abschauen könnten, mag klar geworden sein.

They trust their intuitions and the animals that cross their path to guide them, and are loyal to their companions. Crows may be a friend to the wolf. They are curious, use their wits and adapt. They are not picky about what they eat and always make time to play. These birds make their voices heard and do not let themselves be disturbed.
These are qualities and abilities that we humans could learn a thing or two from. Well, having a wolf as a friend may not be realistic. I wouldn't be able to get much out of crows' food myself, but the point of what we could learn from crows may have become clear.

Den Blick gesenkt, abgewendet vom kalten Licht, erstrahlt ihre Schönheit in eiskaltem, blauen Licht. Unnahbar, beinahe überirdisch zieht ihr wundersamer Kopfschmuck ihre Bewunderer in ihren Bann. Werden sie sich nähern, sich trauen, in ihre eisigen Sphären vorzudringen? Vernarrt und geblendet von eisiger Schönheit? Würden sie eine Begegnung überleben oder in blauem Eis verbrennen als Strafe für ihre Vorwitzigkeit?

Mother Earth - Autumn
Autumn is coming. While the world holds its breath, Mother Earth breathes a sigh of relief. Thoughtfully, she turns her back on the waning summer. Almost as if she is not sure whether she can actually experience the peace of autumn as such. Whether the people of this only earth will also admit the rest, which it needs so urgently.
Hopefully, I think to myself:
"If it is the same with the autumn of life as it is with nature, I don't want to be a second younger, but to walk through this period of life with calm steps, noticing and enjoying the incredible splendor of colors!"

UPS, he did it again!
Once upon a time there was a little robot, Barnii was his name, with rather sensitive circuits. His tinny skin was thinner than that of his buddies, which meant that he was often too noisy and restless at home. As he was also quite curious, he was often found in the most unlikely places with the humanoids. He liked to stick his mechanical nose into things that were not necessarily suitable for little noses and his lamps glowed exceptionally brightly at some sights. Let's hope he doesn't blow a circuit 😉...

Pin-up - First Contact 🙂
I've always liked pin-up pictures, especially the nice old, retro ones. A little subtle eroticism, often in everyday situations, simply brings something fresh and pretty to the walls with cheeky charm. Now the days of locker pictures for soldiers are over and there are already enough Playboy bunnies. Let's see what I can come up with for "New Pin-up".
