Artist information Kerim Musanovic

Kerimis a painter with academic training. His personal style is characterized by depictions of animals and nature in general. If you look at hisInstagram account, one can state that the whale is one of his favorite motifs. You can even buy him on a t-shirt that adorns a whale he painted in Mostar in 2020.

According to his own statements, he had to flee to Germany with his family during the Bosnian war. They have lost their homeland. He later returned to his home country with his family to start all over again.

With his pictures he would like to urgently point out the danger of climate change. The currently of the street art event in Krefeld, the current flood disaster in Germany inspired him to create this composition. In this way he shows his sympathy and understanding for the flood victims in Germany. Despite the dramatic subject matter presented here, Kerim's image depicts nature in bold, life-affirming colors. In my opinion, he conveys a positive attitude despite everything.
