Streetart I Graffiti I Turbo Urban 2021 I Interview Robert "Opty" Roschwig I Ausstellung I Urbanart Düsseldorf I Kunstpunkt I Streetart Düsseldorf I Kiefernstraße I Kieferngoes40 I Kiefernbleibt I Bilddokumentation Turbo Urban goes Pines 2021 Preview at the Red House (K35) with Robert "Opty" Roschwig return In cooperation with the 40° Urban Art under the aegis of the artist and curator Robert "Opty" Roschwig, artists of urban art come together here with reference to Düsseldorf for an extraordinary event. Where else can you find so many extraordinary street art and graffiti works of art as well as figurative representations and photos in a small space in peaceful co-existence? Thanks to far-reaching and friendly relationships in the scene, big and small, well-known artists and those who want to become one follow the call of Turbo Urban to the Red House and thus give the 40th birthday celebration on Kiefernstraße a very special highlight. Also against the background that this is the first exhibition after 2019 in chaotic times. Thank you to "Opty", who spontaneously agreed to an interview and was able to give me interesting insights into the scene as such and into the exhibition in particular. Question: How did it come about that this exhibition could take place in the Red House? Opty : I have been involved with Kiefernstrasse for about 15 years and feel very connected to it. The last active/personal Turbo Urban Art exhibition was in 2019. From April 20th, 2020 we were forced to move to the virtual space, so to speak "directly from the couch". We were all the more pleased to take up the rather spontaneous opportunity to celebrate the 40th birthday of the Kiefernstrasse. Annotation : So far I have only encountered street art and graffiti art on house walls, train stations, trains etc. Just as art in urban space. New to this topic I had not yet visited an exhibition. But as the saying goes: "The first time is something special." That was definitely what this exhibition was for me, albeit as a preview. Question: What do you mean by spontaneous possibility? Opty: Well, I usually prepare such an exhibition with a lead time of 2-3 months. Here it was just 2-3 weeks. But hey, we got that too. It's a great feeling to finally be able to be live at the pulse of what's happening again. Annotation : In my opinion, putting together a complete exhibition in such a short time and with the usual quality is a sign of great professionalism. When asked about this, Opty nods with a relaxed grin, everything is easy, it works :-). Everyone vaccinated, Corona safety concept is in place, so we can start. Question: How did you end up in the Red House? Opty: The Red House hasn't been used in about 10 years, it was sort of the street's junk room. With the Turbo Urban Gallery, the approx. 100m² are finally being revived. The community of residents will then continue to consider how the Red House can continue to be lived. Annotation : Judging from a conversation among local residents, it's probably not supposed to be a pub anymore .Let's be surprised. Question: Do you have a permanent team and how do the artists come to you? Opty: Of course, the team changes over the years. At the moment Sven and BigB are there and do everything they can to present everything in the best possible way in time for the opening. For years I have been in good, if possible friendly, contact with many street art and graffiti artists, not only from Düsseldorf. He is, so to speak, the interface for all artists and the team. This year there are "magical" 40 artists. 40th birthday on Kiefernstraße, 40° Urban Art Festival and last but not least, the postcode of Düsseldorf starts with a 40...! Annotation : Okay, I wouldn't have come up with the idea of the zip code ;-). Also the fact that here at Opty artists sometimes hang peacefully next to each other, who in real life don't are necessarily friends speaks for the competence of the curator Robert Roschwig, not only in artistic terms. Big artists hang next to small ones, well-known sprayers next to those who might want to become one one day. Some artists are repeat offenders and accompany the Turbo Urbans over a long period of time, but new faces are always there and are easily accepted into the creative community. Question: According to what principle do you hang the pictures? Opty: I/we would like to convey 100% added value to the visitor, ie that as many styles as possible are covered, that there is something for every visitor, young and old, knowledgeable or just curious. There are things that are sprayed, painted and glued, but also photos and sculptures. The "Petersburg hanging ". Also called salon hanging, this type of picture hanging goes back to the St. Petersburg Hermitage. People felt the need to paint and display more and more pictures, for example of family members. Space was cramped and one picture was hung on top of the other .Sometimes the walls were filled up to the ceiling. The viewer should be impressed by the amount of pictures. Despite everything, this type of hanging is subject to a well thought-out principle. I look at all the works of art that are made available in advance and let them have an effect on me. Each artist gets a place of about A2. The compilation then opens up according to topics, gut feeling and intuition. Topics are put together appropriately. In the course of the exhibition it can happen again and again that I wear something that creates new connections. So it doesn't get boring for returning visitors either. You can always come back and discover something new. The exhibition must live! Annotation : I was well aware that you can hang many pictures on a wall. But with the explanation for this particular hanging, I got a different perspective on this. There are not just pictures of different urban artists hanging on the walls, they are also put together with deliberation. There is Rumi's cyclist, who seems to be tired and leans on her bike and looks directly at the picture hanging to her right, at the Fürstenplatz. So the pictures "live" in one, so to speak Symbiosis that is sometimes altered a little by Opty. The exhibition is alive! Question: Are there any special features that are important to you in your exhibition? Opty: At each exhibition there is a guest wall. Here the participating artists can immortalize themselves creatively during the construction phase, if they like. There is no compulsion and no specifications. At a past exhibition, for example, only gray and black tones were sprayed/painted. Here I have provided some colors and asked the artists to bring colors at their own discretion. Oh yes, the goose :-), that's our mascot. annotation : Yes, the exhibition is alive, absolutely. Even if I only notice some of the pictures at home when editing them on the PC. But that's often the case for me and I think it's okay. I would also like to mention the memorial wall, which, as BigB explained to me, should not be missing from any exhibition. Entitled "Rest in Peace", a work by Benni Peacemaker commemorates the companions who have left the common path for good. Question: In a few words, what makes access to graffiti & Co. so interesting for the kids? Opty: Compared to other hobbies, access to graffiti is actually quite easy. Even if you don't have a lot of money, you can always find a spray can or an Edding somewhere. The interest in spray art cuts across all social classes. The kids are also important to us. We are planning to create a total work of art in landscape format with the children's club and to integrate it into the exhibition. A nnotation : In the Kids Club (K21), workshops are held again and again, in which various artists introduce the kids to dealing with colors and art. The beaming faces of the kids speak a clear language. Question: Die Kiefern celebrates its 40th birthday in 2021. You're younger than the pines at 34. How does it feel for you to be able to exhibit here now? Opty: I've been on Kiefernstrasse for around 15 years. I feel a deep, wonderful, sometimes creepy connection with the street, the people and life here on this extraordinary street. Annotation: As a non-Düsseldorfer and still a newcomer to the subject of street art/graffiti, I consider the Kiefernstraße with its houses that have "grown/painted" over a long period of time to be a fixed point in artistic life, not only in Düsseldorf. At least for me it is the starting point for my photo documentation around the themes of urban art. My first pictures were taken here on site ;-) When I'm out and about with my camera, I'm always happy when I find people who want to be photographed. That makes a topic or a report really complete for me. But not everyone who comes in front of my camera allows their picture to be taken, which of course I accept. The deeper reason, on the other hand, I was not really aware of until today. That for many urban artists it is not the recognition of his face that is worth striving for, but that of his tags, his writing, his works. You live the anonymity, comparable to thatBansky Effect . I walk through the city and see pictures that I know whose signature they bear. Alone he could stand next to me and I wouldn't recognize him. Too bad for me but thanks to Opty for the explanation and for the book tip. The book is impressive. You can find the newspaper article here:(...) Add comment: (...) Did you like this report? Furr ies - FFXIV inspired pictures : These characters are modeled by me after common characters from the Final Fantasy series, among others. The characters are created with DAZ content and morphed by me, i.e. physically and optically adapted until I liked them. I see the basic characters as borderliners, as border crossers between light and dark. Let's see what other characters come along and what they will experience. 2. Manga and anime style : In addition to fantasy characters I have created, which I more or less assign to the manga and anime style, there are also NPCs from various online games. Sometimes it's not easy to assign them, then I roll the dice to see where they belong ;-). The original figures are usually not recruited directly from the DAZ Studio, but are processed and rendered by me. 3. Japanese style : Here you can find typical japanese scenes and characters. Geishas and their friends ... 4. Cartoons & Little ones : By this I mean the small, cute and often rather simple figures. Characters that you can best imagine in comics (sometimes also for adults), that you can just find cute and cuddly. Sometimes, I also generate saying pictures with members of this crew, most of which can be found at some point on my Facebook page "Childhood Wisdom", which is currently still under construction. Large wings, small wings, delicate transparent wings and strong wings with large feathers, everything the enchanted heart desires. Spontaneously, these wings reminded me of the typical Victoria's Secret shows and curious as I usually am, I googled what these wings are all about. Read more (...) Meanwhile, I look beyond the camera and DAZ Studio and let myself be inspired by all the sensual perceptions that an open and curious mind of any age can encounter if it keeps its perceptions open to new and creative things. Put as few shackles on me as possible so that I can continue to think and feel and look out in images and words for that point that will stop me. A stop for the sake of good taste? I don't know yet, we'll see ... The first thing I came across was the celestial mission, indirectly performed by the girls with the wings. In 2012, the extremely destructive hurricane "Sandy" paralyzed the power supply of the 69th Division of the US National Guard in New York. The well-known lingerie manufacturer has had its damsels of heaven run the annual fashion show at US National Guard headquarters since 2009. But no electricity and a severe cold snap caused the show to falter badly. Not only the scantily clad models, but also the spectators certainly didn't want to enjoy the enchanting clothing in a Siberian ambience. So the Victoria's Secret team got down to work and supplied the building with the necessary electricity in less than a day. They set up 500-watt dynamos and breathed new life into the elevators, among other things, so that the show was a (usual) success for everyone involved. When I first skimmed the article, I thought it was a joke, but it must have been the truth. Seems like the lingerie manufacturer doesn't just sell "underwear" ;-). Reason enough for me to deal with the history of its origins: At the end of the 70s there was Roy Raymond, who had just received his doctorate from the "Graduate School of Business", who obviously had a problem with red ears, which always occurred when he was woman wanted to buy pretty lingerie. So he created a boutique for lingerie in the Victorian style, modeled on his parents' house, where men could buy magical underwear for their loved ones in a relaxed, stress-free atmosphere. In 1977, with an $80,000 loan from his bank, he created the first Victoria's Secret shop in Palo Alto, California, in the style of a 19th-century salon. It is said to have been furnished with heavy velvet curtains, historic wardrobes and valuable oriental carpets. His idea was a resounding success, he made half a million dollars in profit and set up four more stores and designed a mail order catalog over the next 5 years. I don't quite understand why he then sold his entire chain to Leslie Wexner, the founder of the multi-billion dollar women's clothing chain "The Limited", in 1982 for only four million. Unfortunately, the life of this interesting man ended tragically. Several attempts to set up a new business, for example in the area of children's clothing or toupees, failed, as did his marriage. In 1993, Roy Ramond died by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. "The Limited" worth around 11 million on the stock exchange in 2012, continued the magical lingerie idea extremely successfully. In the years that followed, more and more shops were opened and the mail order business expanded. In 2012, there were more than 1,000 Victoria's Secret branded stores in North America alone. The shop opened in London and Asia in 2012 with the start of the Summer Olympics. Approximately 390 million catalogs were mailed. Obviously, the secret of the huge success also lies in the winged models. The heavenly feeling paired with unusual, beautiful lingerie is not only successful in rather prudish America. The top-class annual shows attract a lot of attention, not least because of the world-famous models. Professional advertising supports the concept. In 1999, for example, the event was broadcast live from Times Square via the Internet. The advertisement for this ran during the half-time break of the Superbowl, resulting in 1.5 million viewers. 1.5 million people who watched the scantily clad angels on the runway. A remarkable success. Only in 2004 was the show canceled once. According to unconfirmed statements, Justin Timberlake's "Nipplegate Affair" was the trigger. He probably looked too closely at Janet Jackson's chest during the performance. Oh well, ... Another highlight was the first diamond-studded brassiere in 1996, which Claudia Schiffer only wore for the catalogue. It was said to be worth $1 million. In 2000, a diamond-studded bra worn by Giselle Bundchen even just for the catalogue, worth $15 million, even made it into the Guinness Book of World Records. In 2001, Heidi Klum floated down the catwalk for the first time in one of these sparkling bras. The precious part was valued at $12.5 million. Of these treasures, only a 42-carat Harry Winston diamond was sold, which certainly did not diminish the level of awareness of the Victoria's Secret brand. But in 2021, Victoria's Secret will also have to change its attitude towards the ideal image of women. The head of the company, Martin Waters, explains that from now on they want to take care of the cultivated women instead of the scantily clad angels, because he currently doesn't think angels are (any longer) relevant. New faces for her lingerie include US soccer player Megan Papinoe, freestyle skier Eileen Gu and producer and author Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The plus-size model Paloma Elsesser is also there. Models like Heidi Klum, Claudia Schiffer, Gisele Bundchen, Naomi Campell or Alessandra Ambrosia were a thing of the past. Men's ideals should no longer be of fundamental interest, but what women want. A new campaign has been launched: "VS Collective" focuses on women who have made outstanding achievements and do not stand for special body dimensions. Paloma Elsesser, the plus-size model, has signed with Victoria's Secret in hopes of helping to revolutionize the definition of "sexy" and change the world. These are certainly commendable intentions and also send important signals due to the outstanding position of the company. However, one should not forget that it is far from possible to depict the entire spectrum of women in the world. But Victoria's Secret still sees itself as a high-end boutique and not as an everyday department store. Sources: Handelsblatt, tv.de/leute For me, this folder is a collector's album for all sorts of not only winged, sensually erotic beings. Women and men, big and small, erotic and funny. Down Town Gallery I Street Art I Künstler I Urbex Art I Samara Blue Photo Art Artist information - Down Town Gallery 2019 return Edgar Müller, Bad Ems - Human dignity is inviolable Home page In Edgar Müller's opinion, our imagination does not suffice to imagine the extent of our struggle for survival. For this reason, our actions and actions are inhuman. We disregard nature and The situation refugees. In order to understand that what people do and/or do nothing ultimately also affects them, there will first have to be a big bang. Many of the global catastrophes are due to human misconduct, caused by greed for profit, materialism and the need for economic growth. Artificial intelligence and the extremely fast-growing information technology that paralyzes free thinking, the Binds people's energy and threatens them with far too much unnecessary information in their natural being, is a sign that "his generation" has failed. It remains to be seen if anything will change. Gregor Wosik, Mönchengladbach - One Wall, Two Worlds Facebook * Instagram * Homepage Gregor Wosik takes up the always topical issue of refugees. He depicts the situation as a parallel world. On the one hand there are the desperate people looking for help, whole families often with small children, who are looking for a way across dangerous oceans to a supposedly better world, on the other hand the sailing regatta, well organized, public , well guarded. Gregor enthusiastically used the partially dilapidated underground to recreate a broken atmosphere with his colors and hands. A closer look reveals the fine details that force me to look more closely. Fabio Fedele, Rovigo, Italy - Unknown Psychodrama Facebook * Instagram Darkness and gloom surround a bright center like a cave. This cave represents evil thoughts, violence and fear. Selfishness, superficiality and uncompromising adherence to ideological and/or religious principles appear frightening and threatening to people. The bright scene in the background with the happy girl playing with animals in a beautifully colored nature, appears in bright light, thus representing good thoughts, love, tolerance, understanding and respecting the environment . The surrounding darkness seems to be overpowering and has a negative effect on us humans. But everyone has the freedom to determine their own behavior. Good thoughts can be a way out, out of the bunker. Actually quite simple. Even when threatening things and actions surround us, we have it in our hands to find the direction into the light, towards love, understanding and justice. Ruben Poncia, Uetrecht, The Netherlands - Reflex Facebook * Instagram * Homepage With this picture, the artist wants to draw attention to the fact that there is still a danger from nationalism and populism. The tiger depicted represents wisdom, mystery and domesticity. He leaves the eagle as a symbol of the Nazis for nationalism and populism. Such a beautiful animal as the eagle, like populism, attracts people, embodies power. But nobody knows when he will attack. Out of his own concern, Ruben wants to draw people's attention to the dangers of nationalistic ideas. He appeals not to forget the consequences, which are sufficiently documented by history, and to be aware of what such slogans can do. The overpoweringly large and aggressively portrayed eagle makes the danger seem very vivid to me. Victor Splash, St. Petersburg, Russia - Alive Surface Facebook * Instagram * Homepage The wall itself is the key element for Victor Splash. He lets himself be guided by the overall environment and wants to steer the visitor into his emotional world when entering the rooms. He perceives the peculiarities of the space made available to him and integrates this into his artwork. Here in the bunker, he is fascinated by the heaviness of the concrete pillars, which he softens into softer, more flexible forms through his 3D representation. In this way he seems to abolish the laws of architecture and construction and transforms himself without violence and aggression thickest walls and structures. Stressed.es, Krefeld, Germany - clip open Homepage The graphic designers Sebastian Saffenreuther and Clemens Brück symbolize the idea of protection with the help of brackets. With these brackets you can include or exclude things and/or influences. They connect the inside with the outside, one thinks: "Am I inside or outside? Am I under the protection of the bracket or is it more like a wall that hinders me?" It seems to be a question of one's own perception whether I perceive a situation as positive or negative. It's my decision whether I get involved in a situation and maybe talk to other people about it. Similar to, for example, the intersections in set theory, I capture this work of art with a geometric feeling. Something that has been very familiar and vivid to me since school. They also use colour, form and composition in a playful way. The daylight that falls on the picture at this particular point reinforces the connection between inside and outside. Adry del Rocío, Guadalajara, Mexico - A house to dream of Facebook * Instagram * Homepage The artist from Mexico worries about the difficult living conditions in refugee camps. Can they hope for protection and a more comfortable life? Do they have prospects of a secure future, of a house to dream of? Already in her childhood, the artist was sensitized to this subject by her father. He supported street children in Ecuador, a problem that in Latin America is causing many families to leave their villages due to the drug wars. Her artwork is to be understood as an illusion of a happier, more peaceful world. The intense coloring and happy faces of the children depicted make it easy for me to follow the illusion, for a blink of an eye... Alex Maksiov, Kiev, Ukraine - Shelter Facebook * Instagram * Homepage It depends not only on the person himself whether his head can offer humanity a protective space, but also on his environment. Both have an impact on the situation. The ceiling and floor hold the concrete head captive. It stands for a person who has lost all humanity. This head can no longer offer protection to humanity that defective. But_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_ Everyone has to make their own decisions for or against humanity and thus protect their heads from external attacks. This work of art has a disturbing effect on me. I can't grasp it all at once. What is where? Where does it belong? Alex Weigandt, TUBUKU, Krefeld - Last man understanding Facebook * Instagram * Homepage This scene, which depicts a bar, seems dreamily unreal. It stands in stark contrast to the life situation in a bunker during wartime. People, guests with heads made of lightbulbs, these may stand for thoughts and ideas. Alex thinks back to his student days and plays with the transparency of the colors used, creating different lighting situations and exposing his figures to different life situations. In difficult life situations, bars often become a place where you can get help or at least a distraction. Sometimes the visit ends in alcoholic free fall, which many a bartender, as a supposed friend, likes to support. But what is reality? who is my friend Do I have a "real" friend? How necessary are social contacts? ... and where can I find them during the Corona period? For me, this question is particularly explosive at the moment. Maria Kudasheva, St. Petersburg, Russia - Shelter in my head Facebook During the war, a bunker was a protection for the life and limb of the population, but for mutual support it was also a place where one was/was locked up . Are we really free today in peace ? Maria wonders if you don't have your own prison in mind today, walls built around to protect one's mind from the abundance of information and outside influences? Rapid changes make it difficult for us to separate the important from the unimportant. Everything is in constant change. Can we come with you? What helps us keep track? Your plain person appears to be seeking this meditation. iVann Garc, Guanajuato, Mexico - Flexible battle Facebook iVann seemingly reverses the nature of war. With the little dark-skinned girl, his picture embodies the future of minorities. The soldiers, transformed into toys, stand for a possible peace in the world. For iVann, his Jewish great-grandfather, who fled from Berlin to Mexico as a Jew, exerted a strong influence . He knew little of his German family history. Only on his trip to Krefeld, during a street festival, did he find out that his family with the name 'Hirche' was wealthy and well-known in Berlin. What would have become of him if there had been no persecution of the Jews? Again, the nonsensical nature of violence and wars becomes clear, but also the inevitability. A steady cycle of power posturing, greed for profit, intolerance and arrogance. It repeats itself again and again, such as the relationship between the USA and Mexico. Floya Jam, Toulon, France - Le reve de Annabella Facebook Floya Jam posed for her niece in this beautiful color image. The little one plays peacefully and apparently completely relaxed in her own imaginative world. In her mind, butterflies fly freely around her. Floya Jam wants to express hope. Hope for a peaceful coexistence of all people. The sunflower in the background provides the vital light, symbolized by the little girl's peaceful face, which becomes the focal point of the magnificent blossom. The picture evokes calm in me as the viewer, lightness and peace. She describes this painting style, which is typical of Floya Jam, as improvisation in mediative painting flow. Danila Shmelev, Moscow, Russia, Fragility Facebook * Instagram Physical and psychological violence and aggression bother Danila (@SSHHOZZY). Hidden behind shredded paper, cardboard and plastic, an eye tries to find protection and security from just this. But paper offers no protection against these attacks. Danila himself was able to grow up without these bad influences, but he was not spared frightening examples. Achieving success through physical violence and aggression is possible, he says. But that can't be the right way, even though many people experience it every day. I am very touched by this delicately designed picture. It was only during editing that the individual inadequate protective devices became apparent to me layer by layer. Details that I didn't really notice when visiting the gallery. This picture speaks later... BeNer1, garbs, Germany - Bayeza abafana abancane Facebook * Instagram * Homepage Patrik Wolters aka BeNer1 looks back on more than 20 years of development in art and graffiti. For Krefeld, he has taken up the still current problem of political and social injustice in South Africa. Through his time in Johannesburg, where he and his girlfriend took photos in the township and offered a graphic workshop for children, he always stayed connected to the country and its problems. His picture shows there s South African township Gugulethu, which has suffered greatly from apartheid, from the point of view of the residents, not from that of the tourists. The mountains Table Mountain and can be seen in the background of the picture. The situation is framed by the national flower of South Africa, the protea. The main character is a boy with a red crown on his head, a stylistic device used in graffiti art to emphasize something special. This emphasis applies here in the very graphic depiction of a song text from 1989, the end of apartheid: "One man one vote" by Johnny Clepp & Savuka. Carlos Alberto, Guadaljara, Mexico - A future that breathes Facebook A young girl looks proudly and powerfully, still innocently, into a hopeful future. It is meant to symbolize a new generation, more confident than the previous one, in tune with the difficulties of the present and a realistic vision of the future. The beautifully colored birds, individually rather weak and fragile, symbolize the strength that can emanate from a group. Applied to humanity, the desire for togetherness becomes clear here, without differences of origin. Hope for a functioning shelter earth. Unfortunately some of the last pictures are missing. I wasn't able to look at them on the day of my visit. As a result, my report remains incomplete, the story does not find its end, at least not here. I hope to get another chance to look at the missing pictures. Add comment: (...) Did you like this report? Feel free to leave a comment :-). Samara Blue I Wer bin ich? Was treibt mich an? I Meine Kameras I Meine Visionen I Meine Ideen I Meine Wünsche und Vorstellungen I Urbexart I Dreamtime I My Way of Art I Lost Place I Streetart Kerstin Ellin ghoven aka samara blue- Just Me return Hi, I'm Kerstin Ellinghoven - better known online as Samara Blue . This name comes from my time as founder and dancer of the Moonlight Dancers, a group that combined oriental dance and fascinating fire shows. This creative phase shaped me and the name still accompanies me today on my artistic paths in digital and photo art as well as local photo reportages. How I got behind the camera My love of photography began indirectly with the search for cool pictures of my fire shows. That's when I met Dark Lord Ellia, a photographer and artist from Krefeld - and now my husband. I'm still waiting for the promised fire photos, but I discovered that my place is behind the camera and not in front of it. ! Widget Didn’t Load Check your internet and refresh this page. If that doesn’t work, contact us. I dedicate myself to photography with a lot of passion and curiosity, am constantly learning new things and usually let my gut feeling guide me. My old Nikon D700, without automatic controls, is my favorite - it demands real craftsmanship and connects me more intensely with my subjects. Although I don't do photography professionally, I see it as my creative form of expression. I love capturing special moments for people - from emotional weddings and sensitive baby belly shoots to glittering oriental dance shows. Capturing emotional memories for dancers is particularly close to my heart. It fulfills me to give them pictures in which they like themselves - a feeling that for me goes far beyond my own time on stage. Lost Place Fotografie My entry into photography began with lost places - thanks to my husband, who initially took me to such abandoned places. My fascination for the stories and backgrounds of these places eventually led me to create my website “Samara Blue - Urbexart”. Even though my focus today is on digital art, this name reminds me of my photographic beginnings. My approach was never to cover as many spots as quickly as possible. I wanted and still want to feel the atmosphere of the places, discover their stories and bring them to life through my pictures. Every project is time-consuming: from discovering the places to researching, selecting and editing the photos. I consciously take the time to capture the uniqueness of each place and gather background information. Lost places, often forgotten buildings from recent history, are more than just backdrops for me - they tell of life that once was and stimulate the imagination, allowing us to participate in long-gone history. Lost Place Streetart & Magische orte Urban art and special places I came to the subject of street art rather by chance. Many of my photos show colorful graffiti and urban artworks that were simply too good to gather dust on my hard drive. Fascinated by the stories behind these works, I began to research artists and find out their intentions. It gets particularly exciting when artists like Ben Mathis, Klaus Klinger or Karsten Breidenbroich share their insights. The Kiefernstraße in Düsseldorf with its beautifully colored houses remains a project close to my heart - a vibrant hotspot of urban art that is constantly changing. I am also always fascinated by the regularly recurring urban art events in Krefeld. They not only offer inspiring works of art, but also the perfect opportunity to get in touch with artists. These encounters give me a deep insight into their creative processes and enrich my view of their works. As a Krefeld native, my photographic heart naturally goes out to the regularly recurring urban art events. In addition to great pictures, there are also many opportunities to get in touch with the artists and gain a deeper insight into their creative process. I am also interested in unusual places with history or a special atmosphere. One example of this is the Schlaraffia Crefeldensis in “Et Klöske” - a fascinating place that I had the opportunity to photograph. It was a very special encounter, as women are not usually allowed in here. Projects like this give me the opportunity to make stories visible and capture places in a special way. Urban art and special places - for me, both combine photography and curiosity in their most beautiful form. Urbanart Krefeld 2023 Urbanart Krefeld 2015-2021 Dü-Kiefernstraße Magische Orte Digital art & Lyric Digital art is my main focus at the moment - a creative focus that fulfills and inspires me. Thanks to my husband, I discovered DAZ Studio, a medium that allows me to create diverse scenes with characters, animals and environments. Perspectives and lighting are similar to real photography. Even though this work requires patience, practice and lots of experimentation, I find it a fascinating way to create images and often complement them with suitable words. This often results in small, magical stories. During the pandemic, this kind of creativity became an important part of my everyday life - and it still is today. I am particularly proud that some of my works are sold through the art print publisher Printler. This motivates me to try out new themes and processing options - even if not every experiment succeeds. Artificial intelligence in my work: I look at the topic of AI with interest, but use it sparingly. I rarely use AI for backgrounds, as it is important to me to have as much control as possible over the process of creating an image. For me, AI remains an exciting but complementary tool that will probably be indispensable in the art world in the future. But it will never be able to replace an original photograph that captures real moments. Pictures and words - one unit: For me, pictures and texts often belong together. A picture is only complete when I have found the right text to complement or underline its message. When I write, I see myself less as a copywriter and more as a creative writer. I enjoy organizing thoughts, telling stories and bringing images to life with words - intuitively and with a lot of passion. This is my way of discovering art in all its facets and passing it on. Digitale Art Art Print Publisher PRINTLER HP - design The history of my homepage: The design of my homepage is also part of my creative process. It was originally created to present my dance activities. At the time, I thought long and hard about whether I should write it myself or use a modular system and deliberately opted for the latter. Instead of immersing myself in source code, I wanted to put my energy into content. Today I rely on Wix, but even here it takes more than just clicking a few buttons. Templates have to be adapted, elements put together harmoniously and mobile views optimized. The requirements of cell phones and tablets in particular often require extra fine-tuning. Changes by the provider bring additional challenges - and sometimes it is unavoidable to intervene in the source code, even if I would rather avoid it. Despite all the small obstacles, working on my homepage remains an ongoing project - and I love it! For me, it's like a modern-day glossy picture album from my childhood, and tinkering with it is simply part of it. hobbys My creative passions: Working with the 3D program DAZ Studio and the subsequent post-processing are currently one of my most time-consuming hobbies. There is so much to discover, try out and refine that I never get bored. Photography remains my passion, which I am constantly developing. I still really enjoy holding the camera in my hand and experimenting with new techniques. Reading is essential for me - not a day goes by without an interesting book. Every book that my husband and I get our hands on also gets a permanent place in our home. Cooking and especially experimental baking are also among my favorite pastimes. My husband always benefits from this too, of course! In the colder months, we like to play 'World of Warcraft', another, unfortunately also rather PC-heavy passion. To get away from the screen for a bit, I tend to our organic garden and try yoga, which I hope is a good way to meet new people. Last but not least, I'm rekindling my old passion for designing and tailoring clothes. I finally have a sewing machine again and my fabrics and patterns will no longer be gathering dust in the corner. Lots to do, but I'm looking forward to everything that comes my way - after all, there are 24 hours in a day! My creativity What does creativity mean to me? For me, creativity is an ongoing flow that cannot be captured in rigid rules or measurable results. It is a path that I follow to enrich life with my own unique forms of expression. From handicrafts to art: Even as a child, I made everything I could find. Creative courses and new techniques constantly broadened my horizons. As my experience has grown, I have always found new forms of expression that make me happy - be it through dance, photography or creative photo reportages. Creativity without limits: Photography came into my life over eight years ago when my husband introduced me to the world of digital cameras. With a camera in my hand, the world suddenly felt like a new, limitless creative medium. It was a turning point - and the freedom to create images that I felt myself was like an epiphany. Digital art and 3D design: At the end of 2021, I came across the 3D program DAZ Studio. This new creative world allowed me to experience digital art in a completely different dimension. The process of learning and discovering always challenges me anew. Creativity is spontaneity and emotion: for me, creativity is an interplay of head, heart and soul. It loves the unplanned and unbound. It requires patience and time to unfold. It is the moment in which an image comes into being and, for me, forms a harmonious whole. Creativity is more than technique: creativity cannot be forced according to a plan or a formula for success. It is unpredictable and often comes when you least expect it. But that is precisely what makes it so unique and valuable. My art is my hobby: my art is not a competitive act, but an expression of my personal joy and satisfaction. It gives me the freedom to express myself and to share this inspiration with others, without any thoughts of competition. Creativity as a universal language: I believe that creativity is a universal language that can connect us with each other. It helps us to think outside the box, explore new paths and experience life in a deeper, more colorful way. Conclusion: My art is my hobby, my creative path. It fulfills me, enriches my life and allows me to keep discovering new things. And that is what true creativity is for me - the constant, colorful flow of ideas that never stand still and are not bound by any obligations or conditions. That is a piece of freedom for me. Lots to do, but I'm looking forward to everything that comes my way - after all, there are 24 hours in a day! Standing - Ein Blick hinter die Kulissen In the digital space, many things are often shared thoughtlessly and judged quickly. But not every statement I make reflects my deepest thoughts. Here I share with you some principles that are important to me - the thoughts that I really stand behind. My principles: Follow your dreams. A life without dreams? Not my thing. I will always follow my own dreams, even if they are not easy to realize at times. Quality over quantity: I'm not interested in posting what feels like a thousand pictures every day. If I have something to show, it's good and I do it with conviction. If I can't think of anything, then that's fine too. Just don't huddle. There is strength in calm. I take the time I need. Age is just a number. The path is my goal, even if it's bumpy, and there's always something new to discover, no matter what stage of life I'm at. I don't run after anything or anyone. I go my own way. I find peace within myself, because that is the place that suits me. I can't do anything with “fishing for compliments”. If I like what I have created, then it is good for me. Don't talk about me, talk to me if you have something on your mind. Status, possessions and intelligence mean little to me. The true value of a person lies in the way they treat me and others. I like myself with my strengths and weaknesses. If I want to learn something, then I do it. But I don't have to be able to do and like everything because others do. There is no such thing as perfection. I am open to new things and welcome honest criticism, but even without feedback I stay true to my path. Anyone who wants to can accompany me part of the way, but no one will tell me where to go. For me, respect, honesty, tolerance and loyalty are the basis of every relationship, whether in the family, among friends or elsewhere. Some things have to grow and develop. Nothing can be forced. That's what drives me. To be creative, to grow and to go my own way, in my own personal way, and to feel free and alive in the process. With this in mind, have fun browsing and be patient if it takes a while for a page or a topic to be finished. It's my time :-). Your s Samara Blue Krefeld in November 2023

Porträt/maleporträt/femaleporträt/art/digitalart/artporträt/digitalphotography/dazstudio/samarablue/mywayofart/dreamtime/paintshop/photoshop/closeup NEW: Art Portraits I Human & animal symbiosis zurück At first I just wanted to recreate the picture with the raven that I came across in various versions on the internet. Then I found the photographer, whose name I unfortunately can't remember, and discovered that he had depicted one and the same real woman in ever-changing combinations with different animals and post-processing. An idea that made me curious to what extent these kinds of photos could be realised with DAZ Studio. I recreated a second picture based on his model and then let my own imagination run wild. Under the theme ‘Man & animal - a symbiosis in nature’, I let various female characters find their animal counterpart, the animal complement to their human soul. Connected in heart and soul, each lending an eye to the other in order to view the world from different perspectives, to be able to complement each other and to be helpful to each other. A symbiosis between humans and animals ... In contrast to the source of inspiration, I used different characters so that I could adapt them with suitable animals according to my ideas. I also went my own way in terms of perspective, overall depiction and post-processing, framing the images more tightly and making the figures more detailed. It was a time-consuming endeavour, but not every creature turned out the way I wanted, and the positioning of humans and animals was sometimes adventurous. After the postwork with Paintshop, the images seemed too sterile and boring, so I worked my way through various photo apps to find the right look for each pair. I didn't post-process any of the images with AI. Even though some of the filters used were designed as elaborate templates, I deliberately set each of these filters in exactly the shape, colour and intensity you see now. Nothing was left to chance. As I would also like to sell some of these pictures as high-quality art prints with the art print publisher PRINTLER, I also focussed on the quality of the pictures, which unfortunately always suffers somewhat with extreme post-processing. So I'm all the more pleased that some of the pictures have already passed this hurdle and are available at PRINTLER. It remains to be seen which other images will fulfil these requirements. I will upload some suggestions for decorating the images authorised by PRINTLER here. Have fun browsing ... In this gallery you will also find the simply edited images on this topic. Artist information Cuboliquido Cuboliquido tells that since the 16th century, Italian street painters have been roaming the country to attract people's attention with expressive, sacred pictures in front of the churches. Since the materials used, such as chalk and pastel, were very perishable due to the weather, it has only been possible to preserve these images for posterity since the invention of photography. It's easier for the cheerful robot at the entrance to the silk weaver's house. For the time being, its preservation is assured, even if it patiently bears the rubbish of "forgetful" contemporaries. Anamorphic street painting has also been finding its way into Italy for about 20 years. This 3D chalk art, now also known as 3D street painting, greatly enhances street painting, producing extremely realistic moments. The viewer is automatically drawn into a lifelike scene, most impressively when paying attention to the specific point from which the image must be viewed. For his (Heart)ly robot, cuboliquido combined his passion for robots with 3D painting. He is often inspired by everyday objects that he perceives in his environment. They can then playfully combine the everyday with/to urban art. Here in Krefeld, two old, demolished mailboxes were the starting point for a funny robot. Source: cuboliquido.com, Wikipedia, freddart.de * * * Cuboliquido was born in Milan in 1974. He has lived from his art since 1992 and in 1994 he discovered his passion for street art. First as a graffiti artist and later as a traditional Madonnari artist (street painting of traditional Madonna images and religious motifs with pastel chalk). Today, two of his Madonnari artworks are on display in a basilica in Bethlehem and in Mexico City. Since 2009 he has particularly focused on anamorphic 3D street painting and has participated in many international street art festivals, where he has won numerous awards. He has presented his paintings across Europe, in Russia, in the USA, Latin America, Thailand, China, in the Middle East and in South Africa. He has worked for many well-known companies such as Disney, Universal Cinema, Amazon, Coca Cola, Samsung, Unilever, Warner Bros and many more. To date he has taken part in over 200 events of various kinds as a street painter. He is the first artist to combine 3D street painting with animated videos (video mapping) and his work has already been shown at three different art biennials and other contemporary art exhibitions. He was awarded the title of Maestro Madonnaro in Grazie di Curtatone and won first prize in the world's most important competition for 3D street art in Dubai in March 2017.
